I went to the dentist yesterday. I don’t mind the dentist at all as it is usually a very uneventful experience. Yesterday, my dentist decided I needed to get some fillings…apparently I have 4 cavities. This is a little weird as I have never had a cavity in my life, but whatever. As I have never had a cavity I didn’t really know what a filling entailed. She says she’s going to give me a topical and places a Qtip in my mouth….no biggie. Then without warning she pulls out a huge ass needle and starts poking me. Give me a little a warning!!! Then she drills into 2 of my teeth for about 20 min. I then had to go back to work with half my mouth numb. Once the numbness wore off I was in pain and this morning I still have a good amount of pain in my gums. Good news….I get to get 2 more fillings on my next trip.
