WatchOne of my favorite songs by one of my favorite people. “The Girl” by City and Colour. Great song and great video. Dallas recorded all new audio for the first half of the video. The softer part of the song was recorded live, on set. All of the vocals and guitar at the beginning are real audio. Pretty cool I think.

Lake of Fire
I watched “Lake of Fire” this weekend on Netflix. It’s a documentary about anti-abortion campaigns. I found it very, very interesting. It’s shot completely in black and white, mostly I think because of some of the graphic scenes in it. The director has said he doesn’t know how he feels about abortion which I think is good because I felt this film did a good job...
Flamenco
JM and I went to a flamenco dinner theatre at El Cid Restaurant on Sat. night. It was very cool. A little overpriced, but really fun. We got a 3 course meal some sangria and watched 2 women and 1 man (with very nice glutes) dance with live spanish guitar and a man that looked about 90 singing. 1996 is back and in full swing.
This one is a douzy. Apparently, Taylor Hanson from Hanson, James Iha from the Smashing Pumpkins, Adam Schelsinger from Fountains of Wayne and Ben E. Carlos from Cheap Trick are coming together to form a new band called Tinted Windows. They’re playing their first gig March 20th in ATX at SXSW. Crazy!!!! That’s a lot of different influences coming together. Should be interesting!

Coraline
This weekend JM and I saw Coraline in 3-D. We both really enjoyed it. I thought the story was really creative and cool. The imagery was fantastic. I’m a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan and this one being from the same director I was super excited. Although, I felt the story in Coraline was better I still like Nightmare better. I highly recommend seeing this movie in theatres so...
My Mouth Hurts.
I went to the dentist yesterday. I don’t mind the dentist at all as it is usually a very uneventful experience. Yesterday, my dentist decided I needed to get some fillings…apparently I have 4 cavities. This is a little weird as I have never had a cavity in my life, but whatever.
